Hey! My name is a Carissa! I just decided on going to Dakota State University. I had decided on it because of its really good education program, its small-town atmosphere, its proximity to my relatives in Clear Lake, and the Christian community in Madison. I am really wanting a Christian roommate to room with because I think it'd good to be able to encourage each other and just be there for support. Some about me… I grew up in Jordan, Minnesota in a town of about 5500 with 6 siblings and two amazing, Christian parents. I love music (I sing a lot and love to play instruments) I love baking, cleaning, organizing, etc around the house when everyone's gone :) I like to read. I love the book of Hebrews b/c of its poignancy and ''meatiness" lol and the books of 1 and 2 Samuel because of the awesome stories. And I love Psalms too of course and the other books, but Hebrews and the Samuels are definitely pretty cool. I am very passionate about motherhood. I want to be a stay-at-home mom one day and homeschool my kids, and that is a big part of why I am getting an education degree. I love coffee and drink it everyday, pretty much. I really like the Arts; I am in Speech, Theatre, and Music, but I also really appreciate like everything! lol. I love the Social Sciences a ton, and languages, and anything about people. I love sculptures, drawings, paintings, dances, you name it. I dig that kind of stuff :) I like math, but don't LOVE math, and I don't feel it's my strong suit. I really like Biology; Chemistry and Physics are okay. Right now I am in a College Anatomy class, and it's so fascinating! I am really short (4'10 and 3/4 in.) but I never realize it because I feel as tall as everyone else and can lots of attitude. :)
