Grizzly Lofts Dorm Reviews at Missouri State University-West Plains

Grizzly Loft was better than a lot of dorms that I had been in previously. All of the rooms are suites which is really nice when you have two people in one room. Which is actually two rooms.(It’s complicated). I didn’t really like how the shower was in one room while the toilet was in another and your sink is located in your room. Everything was kind of spread apart. That being said there was a lot of space in the rooms. Personally the only noise complaint I ever had was the train blasting through town, but after a few days you get used to it. The floors are concrete so it makes the room a little colder and if you are short like me and have to jump out of bed the floor can hurt your feet sometimes. Also it’s only two blocks from campus and there is a gas station on the first block so it’s really convenient to walk to class. It usually takes 10 minutes max. The food isn’t bad either but let’s be honest cafeteria food can only be so good. All in all I had a positive experience at this dorm and would definitely live in them again.

Very friendly, it doesn’t feel like your in a dorm at all!! It is very clean and safe. I love the high ceilings and the overall positive energy of the lofts. Your a mile away from campus so you won’t get to feel the on campus life but you will feel the campus life for sure!!!
