Registration is simple with Facebook Login. The student connects Roomsurf to their Facebook account, and uses their Facebook login credentials to access Roomsurf. We make profile creation easy by pulling relevant information from the student's Facebook profile.

Proprietary Matching Algorithm

Our matching algorithm calculates bi-directional match percentages for all students attending the same school. Each question asks students about themselves, how their ideal roommate would respond, and then weights that question on importance. The questions are customizable through your Roomsurf administration system.

Roomsurf Profiles

The Roomsurf profile pulls relevant information from the student's Facebook profile, giving others a glimpse into that person's interests, activities, and a short free-form note on what they are looking for in their roommate relationship.

Find Students on Facebook

Students can easily find their matches on Facebook from each student's Roomsurf Profile and continue discussions on Facebook if they choose.

Messaging

Students get to know their matches by messaging them.

Filter Matches

Students can easily filter through their matches by various criteria such as housing preference, graduating class, major, and students that are still looking for a roommate. Multiple filters can be applied at once.
