Mather hall is a female freshman dorm at Benedict College. It is a very tall building that has about 12 floors. This particular dorm resident has a 12oclock curfew and if broken your are subject to pay this $25 fee before either getting a transcript to transfer or before graduating. You share a room with one person so it's them and yourself. You will have an RA on each floor. You cannot bring a fridge or a microwave due to how old the building is which is an inconvenience. Only an RA can have a fridge and a microwave but if you have a medical problem and proof ( a doctor's slip) you can have such appliances. If not, there are vending machines and microwaves on the 12th floor. They do have computer labs, wash rooms, and common areas. Like I said the buildings are old so there are going to be a lot of faults with it. I don't like the community bathrooms because sometimes or often females do not clean up after themselves and the janitress only comes in about 2 times a week (I'm unsure if things have changed). But overall the people are what makes your experience worth it. Even though the condition of the dorms is not top tier you can but your little flair, personality, and taste to it and it would be a beautiful and comfortable space. You get to meet different females from different cultures, countries, and all walks of life. They end up being life-long friends. If I get to do it all over again I would.
