South Shepler Tower Dorm Reviews at Cameron

So far as a freshman my experience has been great. My RA is amazing. I stay in the single dorms, and when there is something to be fixed maintenance has been on top of things. Very clean and quiet. And close to the cafeteria.

my experience here has been pretty decent. I was a little disappointed that I got a double by myself at first, because I have already pre-bought all of my dorm necessities to fit inside of a single instead of a double, but I may good with a change and like the closet that’s a whole lot bigger than I thought I would get and it’s not a bad room but I just wish they were somewhere they would notify me which room I was getting ahead of time so that way I didn’t have to waste all my money on items I didn’t need.

honestly it's just your average dorm and residence hall. There can be improvements made and the staff can do better but with the circumstances of a pandemic things tend to be a bit more chaotic for them. Overall it's pretty safe and quiet unless you have noisy neighbors or someone noisy above you.

a lot of the girls (especially on the freshman floor) are very cliquey, but make sure you become friends with your roommate! you'd be surprised how much in common you have with them! just make sure to manage your time, go to class, and get to know everyone on your floor.
