Asbury Hall Dorm Reviews at Claflin

I had a good stay at Asbury Hall. It was hard to get comfortable at a dorm just in the sense with communal bathrooms and what not but I made it work. Asbury Hall is around many campus events and a lot of people also stayed there. Even though the atmosphere was different because of the pandemic. I always felt safe.

Underwhelming. Loud. Common room was a windowless room in the basement. Heaters impossible to control, had to sleep with window open in winter because it would never shut off. Maintenance said they "fixed" it 4 different times....

When I first came to campus back in August of 2020 for my fall semester, Asbury staff welcomed me with open arms. Throughout the semester every day is different because you're meeting different people with different personalities and honestly I found that to be the best thing because networking is a HUGE part when attending an HBCU in my opinion.
