The Juniper Building Dorm Reviews at Cal State East Bay

it really nice building and enjoyed my time there . they are very clean and always care for the residents. like for example they always have weekly checkup for the residents and the RA's always come to check if our spaces are to make sure clean building overall .

My freshman year experience at The Juniper Building was very enjoyable- great roomates, great residential assistants, and an overall safe space to focus, work, live. I would definitely recommend this dorm building to upcoming freshmen.

My experience with the Juniper Building was amazing, the staff and students were all very friendly. There was never any problems in the building and there was no type of chaos. Definitely had a good freshman year.

I think that these college dorms in general are a bit run down. Every time you enter, the musty odor always linger in your nose, but I suppose that's part of the college experience. If there is no where else to go then the dorms are great, but if you have the means to go elsewhere then that would be better.

There are many resources and everybody really wants to make sure you're safe, comfortable, and happy. They work hard to really make it feel like home away from home. From the head of housing to the RA's, everybody makes themselves accessible in case of anything.

Juniper has to be one of the cleanest buildings ever. I’m so fortunate to be able to live at place where I enjoy living at. Our RA’s are really nice too and they care about us. It’s very quiet and everyone is so friendly. Maintenance always comes on time to fix things.

So, from my own experience living in the Juniper Building as a freshmen; it was not fun when it came to telling my roommates to clean up. When I met my dorm mates they were messy and didn't clean up after themselves. There was always an issue when it was time to clean the kitchen, take out the trash, vaccum, etc. So, if you decide to live on campus for however long; just know that it's costly and that the responsibility is real.
