Parkside College Dorms Dorm Reviews at CSU Long Beach

Overall, a great and convenient place to stay while attending school. The biggest struggles was the lack of air conditioners but in general, everything was great. There were nice events and the staff are fantastic! I was able to go to school and work and still live pretty comfortably.

It wasn’t terrible and it had some great things like the people I met there and the location for me was great but sometimes the bathrooms wouldnt be the best and maintenance could take a while to fix whatever needed to be fixed.

It was my second choice, the first being Parkside North, however it was decent and honestly better than the other options. The food was passable and the heaters in the dorms were permanently turned off so it was chilly but overall okay.

It was during COVID so there was only around 30% capacity. I was located directly from dining hall and the laundry room which was perfect. The only issue is they don't have an AC unit in the dorm room itself so in August/September, everyone had fans in their room to help stay cool.

I noy only was a resident at Parkside dorms, but I served as an active memmber of leadership and was offered a RA position. Parkside dorms are extremly interactive and provide many opportunities for students to work such as at dinning halls or as a RA. Overall I loved my time at Parkside and I hope to be back there soon.
