Justin Potter is the freshman girls dormitory at Cumberland University. Like most freshman dorms, you recieve a room key and are paired with a roommate. The bathrooms are community style. However, there is always hot water and they are always trying to rennovate. They come with a XL twin size bed, wardrobe or hanging shelf, desk and chair, and sometimes a dresser. It is a carpeted room with one window. I liked how Justin Potter (JP its called) is very close to the Phoenix Nest, the mail room, and the cafeteria. It is also near Memorial Hall, Labry Hall, and the LCC. It is a wonderful location, right on the Quad. Security could be better. You just need a key to get in the building and another for your door but it is easy for anyone to get in the building by walking in after someone unlocks an outside door. There are cameras in the hallway, outside, and in the common room. There are RAs on every hall. There is no community kitchen space. The common room is kind of lame but useable for community events. Overall its not the nicest dorms I have ever lived in but it isnβt bad for a typical freshman girls dorm. The people I met there turned into forever friends and the location helped me from being late to class many times!
