Hawthorne Suites Dorm Reviews at ESU

Hawthorn is one of the Suites located on the East Stroudsburg University campus. It is very nice to live with the bathrooms in the rooms. There are a variety of different types of rooms, such as doubles and Quads.

I like hawthorn, it can get a little loud at times but a nice experience. Its a old building so no matter how well the room is cleaned, there will be roaches. My room was also not cleaned prior to me moving in, there is a hole in my window, trash in the sink and broken appliances.

For the most part, Hawthorne suites are nice because they are one of the better dorm buildings. The dorm is usually quiet unless students are walking by outside. It’s nice having your own bathroom in your room as well. The common areas are clean and big enough for groups to hang out. Sometimes it takes a while for maintenance to fix broken doors, lights, elevators etc. However, it is nice to live in these suites.
