Martyrs' Court Dorm Reviews at Fordham

My dorm was next to the communal bathroom, so the showers constantly leaked into the room. We had mold and all they did was shut off that one shower. It's also the only freshman dorm without elevators or water fountains.

As a freshman, I was placed in Jogues as overflow housing. From what I have heard, Jogues is the better part of Martyrs' (fewer residents and more cleanly). It was hard finding friends in Jogues since it is a SILC, but fortunately I was placed with someone who was also overflow housing so we were able to find friends both inside and outside of our dorm. The communal bathrooms were also a difficulty, but that is a given for freshman year. Personally, I would recommend Martyrs' as a last resort, and applicants should definitely try to get in other dorms beforehand.
