Horan & Lee Hall Dorm Reviews at Manhattan

It's been a good experience, with a minimal number of issues, personally, I just wish the common areas were quieter. You can be in the common area studying and someone can walk in talking loudly with another, but that comes with a dorm.

So far my experience is pretty good, I'm a pessimist so I always think things can be worse, my roommate doesn't leave dirty tissues on my pillow. My suitemates were my first friends here even though we're all different, and their friends have become my friends. Every day except weekends there is a cleaning staff. The only thing I really have to complain about is there is no fridge. There are also activities held every once in a while, games like who knows their roommate best.

They were good places to stay at however it was not very clean. There was mold and multiple bugs found in the dorms. The laundry machine barely worked. I only recommend living there if you are coming from a far place. If you can commute you should or find off campus living.

Decent sized rooms but a small “kitchen” that has one stove and a small microwave. The common areas are okay but kinda small. Many items needed for cooking should be brought yourslef as it wont be there but despite that the building is ok and there isnt much problems.

Horan is the melting pot of all the residence halls on this campus. There is always a chance for you to meet someone new whether it’s through hanging out in the common room or simply doing your laundry. Floor events hosted by the RA’s give you something to look forward to on those slow weekday nights, and it brings the residents together. I personally loved that the rooms were suite styled and had they’re own bathroom. The diversity in this dorm is unmatched in this campus and it makes it easy to find some one to make the college experience feel like home.
