Gunter Hall Dorm Reviews at Mississippi

Gunter Hall has been an amazing experience as a first dorm. The hall is located close to the cafeteria and the college gym making it the perfect spot for me. We also have brand new A.C.s the work amazingly. The only issue I have is that people are normally outside your dorm at night talking loudly.

Gunter is a Non-Premium dorm option great for those who want a private bathroom (you share with a suite mate) but don't want to pay for premium. I personally think the dorm is underrated, but the dorm building does have its issues. It's an OLD building, so the AC can be problematic, cockroaches are an issue, and overall the building is worn down.

I have enjoyed living in Gunter this semester. The space is a bit small so you better have storage drawers. The walls are also a bit thin so you can hear music and such coming from other rooms. The kitchen can be a bit dirty and worn down looking from time to time, but overall it is a fantastic place to live on campus .

The people are great and the location is even better. You leave out of the back of the building and there is the cafeteria, Nelson Hall, and many other classes so you don't have to walk far. The staff really listens to you and caters to your needs. The only downside about the dorms is that not the lobby is shut down due to COVID but everything else is great! I have no complaints!
