Grand Mesa Hall Dorm Reviews at Mesa

Grand Mesa Hall is a non traditional dorm that holds anywhere from 4 girls to 10 girls in one suite. The living room area of the suites are nice and come furnished with a couch, coffee table, a television and a cabinet under it. The single rooms are small and very expensive but double rooms are slightly better. There is only one elevator and one kitchen (fourth floor) in the building. Out of the campus dorms, I would say this one is somewhere in the middle.

i recommend this hall to anyone, the overall environment is amazing. The staff is very nice and understanding. the residence assistants are helpful, and stay up to date with everything going on, on campus.

I really liked the suite-style aspect of Grand Mesa. Having the control to clean my own bathroom to my liking and not needing to use a caddy or shower shoes was a luxury. I think that the front desk staff was really rude no matter who was working I had an unpleasant experience with them. In addition, the common rooms were lacking in furniture and were kind of just open spaces in the building. The bathrooms break a lot and it takes a while to get maintenance staff to come to fix the problem. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. The location of Grand Mesa was amazing though. I loved how close I was to The Caf and all of my classes.

The RA's are very helpful and make sure to make time for you when it is needed. The dorms hallways and lobby's are always clean and put together. The Grand Mesa dorm is very quiet and that is very helpful when it comes to staying focused. The location of this building is very convenient as it is close to the classrooms and other meeting places like the cafe and the library.
