Dinallo Heights Halls Dorm Reviews at Montclair State

Dinallo Heights Halls is a good dorm experience compared to the freshman dormitory, Bohn Hall. it has more space, air conditioning, and a private bathroom as much as people take advantage of the public bathrooms, with private you know when it's clean and when it's not because you take care of it yourself. I prefer that over not knowing whether it was cleaned or organized and made to look clean. girls are pretty disgusting too when it comes to bathrooms and I prefer the private bathroom because at least you know who makes the mess.

I lived in the Stonewall Suites, the LGBTQ+ inclusive floor, within Dinallo for two years. The people I met were all friendly, and it was a very safe environment. We also did events as a floor sometimes and that was a great way to engage with people and build community. The hall itself is very clean and safe. Definitely one of the best places to live on campus. The only bad thing is that there's no food located within the dorm itself, unlike Freeman, Blanton, and Machuga. However, it's a short walk to Sam's or the Blanton dining area.

I was there during Covid, so it was relatively quiet. They cleaned frequently and the dorm was relatively neat. The only big complaint is that the laundry often smelled of mildew. Towards the end of the year the smell started to dissipate.

Dinallo Heights is a wonderful place to make friends. Montclair State University itself is a beautiful campus with many social activities so you can make more friends on campus (regardless if you live on campus or not). You can request to have a specific roommate if you would like!

My experience at Dinallo Heights Hall was fun. It was my first dorm when i started freshman year. A little pricey though but it's comfortable. It's hotel style, to get into your room you have to insert your ID into the slot, you have control over the heat and the AC. I met great people in that building especially on my floor

It was very pleasant. I felt as though I was living in a hotel. I believe it to be the best of all dorms of MSU. It was very clean and the location was great and accessible. Police are always nearby if anything occurs.

I actually love the place and it’s good if you want somewhere with good single rooms and to have your own space. It’s really good place to where you can get food and you can get to your class on time.

Dinallo Heights is very clean and is the high end option for the dorms at MSU. Overall I like it there. When the pandemic wasn't a thing, it was a very nice environment to live in because you could bring people over and there's a large sense of community.

A very comfortable living environment. Super quiet most of the time and they also have study rooms for anyone to use. Great experience overall. Being a transfer student from another school, I was hoping the dorms would be better than my prior one and it most definitely was!
