Harper-Tubman House Dorm Reviews at Morgan

I personally did not have to share a bathroom with anyone besides my roommate which I was happy about that. I liked living in Harper because it was right beside the classrooms, the only downside was that it was far away from everything else.

The staff is amazing they are really helpful. And any problem you have with your dorm you can get it fix really quickly. It should be noted that I was in my dorm room by myself due to Covid- 19 protocol.

Since my return to Morgan State University's campus, I can say that the staff, maintenance and residents are doing fairly well keeping the Harper-Tubman resident hall safe and clean during this time. I have been able to make friends on campus while also observing social distancing and wearing a mask.

Living in Harper-Tubman was generally fine. I lived there for my entire undergraduate experience. It's better than the other residence halls in that you only have to share a bedroom with 3 people at most. (You might even only have to share with your roommate if you get a corner room -- I did sophomore year!) There is a decent common room on the first floor, and there is also a common room on every floor. It's also co-ed, so if you have friends there of any gender, you can just go visit their room without having to do the whole sign-in thing at the front. The downside (if you can consider it that) is that because it's an honors dorm, quiet hours are actually enforced. I'd give my experience a solid 9/10.

Harper Tubman was nice because of the friendships I made. The dorm was old and had a weird smell to it. There were mice in the rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. The location of the dorm was nice considering it was close to the academic buildings but it was a decent walk to the student center and events that were held on campus.
