Bigelow Dorm Reviews at PITT

It's a hotel so things like cleanliness and the bathrooms are however clean you want to be. The one big downside is how far away it is from campus, but you get used to the walk and it isn't too bad after a while.

Bigelow has been my home at Whitewater for the past two years. In both years it has been pretty quiet, always clean and a place that you can easily get homework done. Although there is no air conditioning, campus is very windy and if you keep your window open the air moves around quite well. Aside from a few gas line problems and pipe bursts I have been very satisfied with my stay here.

Bigelow is the former Residence Inn that U of Pitt has taken over due to Covid-19. The positive is that the rooms are much bigger since it is an extended stay style hotel. We have full kitchens which allows us to cook. The only downside is that it is a 25 minute walk to campus so we feel a little disconnected from the other dorms.
