The rooms are very small, but you can make it work. The bathrooms are cleaned regularly which is super nice. There isn't a common area on my floor so that was a bummer but not a big deal. The tower is also located above the eatery which makes it nice because you don't have to go that far to get some food.

Living in a college dorm is a unique and exciting experience that can shape one's collegiate journey. Throughout my time in Litchfield Towers, I have learned valuable lessons about responsibility, collaboration, and personal growth. When I started to look into living on campus the most important thing for me was safety, and I believe that the towers is the safest place to live on campus. You have a lot of other students around you, security, and the chances of someone breaking into your room is very slim. This is what was important for me as an individual who struggles with anxiety. Living in Litchfield Towers has enabled me to form connections with people from diverse backgrounds. Sharing a living space with fellow students from different cities, states, or even countries has exposed me to various cultures and perspectives. This exposure has broadened my horizons and allowed me to learn beyond what is taught in classrooms. From engaging in deep conversations late at night to participating in dorm-wide events, I have made friends I never would have met otherwise. These friendships have enriched my college experience and provided a support system that has been invaluable during challenging times. Although living in any college dorm has its challenges, such as noise or shared facilities, the benefits far outweigh the negatives. The experience of dorm living has taught me valuable life lessons and facilitated personal growth. It has provided a sense of independence, exposed me to new people and cultures, honed my collaboration skills, and fostered personal development. Living in a dorm has undoubtedly been one of the most formative experiences of my college years and has played a significant role in shaping me into the person I am today.

My dorm in Litchfield Tower A has given me the opportunity to meet and become acquainted with many other students looking to branch out and expand their social circles. Seeing as the living conditions are tight, it is especially easy to leave your door open, which serves as a sign that other students may enter to stop by to meet. Overall, my experience dorming here was great and I wouldn't have chosen another better option for my freshman year.

My experience in Tower A was better than I expected. I made a lot of friends on my floor and it was so nice having them right next door to me. The location was so nice, since the dining hall is underneath the building and it's only a few minutes away from every major academic building. The bathrooms were clean for the most part-they were only ever dirty when people didn't clean up after themselves. The noise level really just depends on the people on your floor and your neighbors. The only problems I had with this building was that there was only one elevator that went to each floor. The other two went to every other odd floor. Therefore, the wait for the elevators was quite long. Overall, I loved staying in Tower A because of its convenient location and the social opportunities it gave me.

It was in a great location in the heart of campus, so if you were every out studying late at night in Hillman, you felt safe and comfotable walking back home. Also, it had clean bathrooms and hallways, and it was very valuable to have the Eatery (the cafe) located inside the same building, as you never had to wade through rain or snow to eat.

Towers are the center of the freshman experience at Pitt. The buildings hold a lot of students and the lobby houses Panther Central and a dining hall, which is good for convenience. However, moving in and out was a hassle because only one elevator stopped on every floor. Overall it is a typical dorm experience, with pretty nice bathrooms, but living with other college students can be difficult.

Good dorm for freshman at Pitt. It was easy to feel connected to the community. The dining hall is also located within the building. There are also options to study and do laundry in the common areas.

I lived here for three years as a first-year and as a Resident Assistant for other students. I absolutely loved the community and would recommend incoming students live within the Towers in order to gain a true Pitt-family experience. The friends you make within Tower A your first year could be lifelong. It is an essential part of the Pitt journey.

As chaotic as it can be at times, I wouldn't have traded living in Tower A freshman year for anything. Although it can be noisy and the bathrooms can get messy with so many people per floor, the maintenance staff are always friendly and do a great job of keeping things in check. Tower A is in the perfect location on campus is full of great energy. There are always things to do and people to meet, making it a great freshman dorm!

When I entered the dormitory, I was feeling a mixture of awe and nervousness. That giddy feeling was what carried me as I rushed to transport my things from the car to my room. After saying goodbye to my parents, I sat down on my bed and took a look around the small room. It was quite clear that my room was meant to have another roommate, the right side clearly empty and needing to be filled. I started on the boxes, my perfectionism taking over as I tried to make space and adjust my personal belongings. Outside the door, I could hear the voices of greetings between residents and tearful goodbyes between guardians and their child. Finally after everything was in its place, I took a picture of myself to commemorate my independency. I felt like a part of me felt relief from finally gaining a private space to myself. Looking down at my phone, I received a text from the girl who was supposed to be my roommate. Because of covid, we instead were separated and instead next door neighbors. We took the time to explore the facilities the dorm had which included the dining area and such. After a day of exploring we both made our ways back to our individual rooms. When I closed my room door behind me, I couldn't help but let a smile light up my features. Being a person whose social battery recharged best when alone after a busy day, my circumstances were perfect. As the days passed by and I learned to navigate my new home so to speak, I felt comfort in the tiny room on campus.

Towers are awesome! Their central location on campus and the fact that a dining hall is inside the building is a huge plus, especially during those Pittsburgh winters! Having laundry, a small fitness center, and Panther Central nearby 24/7 is awesome! Also, dorms in any of the Towers are not ludicrously expensive or up Cardiac Hill! I'm a big fan! There aren't huge amounts of extra space per dorm (especially doubles where you have a roommate), but most of your time will be spent in classes, at club meetings, or in the Hillman library anyway so the small-ish space is fine! Also, take advantage of the LLCs (Living Leanring Communities)! Living on a floor of fellow Pre-Med students helped a *ton* with questions on course material and finding easy study partners!

Due to Covid, all students were assigned a room to themselves which was quite nice. as for common area, they have one every third floor, same goes for elevators. It's been quite comfortable living in the Towers, however I have heard that when it's a double, it does become quite crowded. Beyond that though, the location is so convenient. It's at the heart of everything on campus and the dining hall is right downstairs. You also meet a lot of first years, overall great place to live for your first year.
