Litchfield Tower B Dorm Reviews at PITT

Towers has had one of the main things I think lacking from other dorms at Pitt-Clean and modern bathrooms. Overall, my experience has been pleasant, but sometimes people can get very loud on the weekend, which is annoying. The rooms are also nice, although my window blinds fell down and broke 1/4ths of the way into the semester and I am too afraid to talk to my RA about it. If you're a freshman, the location of Towers is unbeatable. You can literally just walk down to the eatery if you're ever hungry and most of the lecture halls are within 10 minute walks.

It is a very communal space, with 40 girls per floor it’s hard to know everyone but you find familiar faces everywhere you look. The bathrooms and showers situation is manageable, you never have to wait for a stall to open up. There is communal garbage cans and the maintenance staff usually keep bathrooms and trash areas moderately clean. It’s also in the center of the campus and is directly connected to the dining hall, which is a feature of connivence totally unique to the 3 Litchfield towers.

Tower B is all freshmen so it gets loud, but it is in the middle of campus which is awesome because you have quick access to all the best restaurants and places to study, and the staff is very nice. Keep in mind Tower B also has laundry rooms and the dining hall right at the bottom, so it's super convenient.

I love living in Tower B! I am unable to use the common areas due to Covid, so so couldn’t score them as high as I would like. The cleaning staff is great and cleans the bathrooms throughly every day. I never have to worry about the dorm being dirty!

Tower B is located in the same building as an eatery, a 24-hour convenience store, a coffee cafe, and panther central, which is really good for when you get yourself locked out, you don't have to travel far to get help. Tower B is also located on the strip where there is a lot of food options so you don't have to walk far for that either.
