University of Pittsburgh Dorm Reviews at PITT

It was great, very clean and i made a lot of friends. it is very safe, there is always someone protecting the building. there is a gym and many other ammenities that are really nice, like common study areas.

Living in Nordenberg was a very interesting experience, with it being one of the more updated dorms on campus it’s a really nice living space. But what made it a bad experience was my fellow floor mates cleanliness, with clumps of hair everywhere, and disgusting bathroom stalls. I also partly blame this on maintenance because it never really felt like they were cleaning anything, and we’d (my roommates and I) normally have to call panther central to have these things cleaned.

Nordenburg Hall was one of the first buildings on the Pitt campus that I stepped foot into. As an out of state student, I did not know anyone attending the university, but I met an endless amount of friends during orientation week in my dorm hall. The community areas welcomed all of the college freshman in to gather and experience college together. I remember looking out my window down Fifth Avenue wondering how I changed from a small town girl to a big city dreamer. Nordenburg hall allowed a community to grow that shaped my first year into comfort.
