Hendricks Residence Hall Dorm Reviews at PLNU

Hendricks Residence Hall provides a great atmosphere for freshmen college students at Point Loma Nazarene University. It provides easy access to the beach and consists of a great community of welcoming students. It allows you to easily get your step count up as it is located toward the bottom of the hill at Point Loma, requiring you to walk a little to get to some popular spots on campus like the Caf or some classes. All the RA's are very freindly and are willing to do whatever is needed to make sure you are comfortable and mentally healthy.

Hendricks Hall is considered the more socially active hall; although it depends on who make up it's community. I had an ocean view and it was amazing to see the sunset every night. Hendricks is a bit far from the cafeteria and you have to climb a bunch of stairs or walk up a steep hill. There is a volleyball court next to us and we are pretty close to Sunset Cliffs. The common rooms have a ping pong table. The bathrooms recently got remodeled so it's pretty clean and nice.

Amazing experience. Every resident is so nice, and it makes for a great time in many of the lounges. It is kept exceptionally clean by the staff, as well as very well maintained. I love the location, the views, and the staff.

Overall, the atmosphere is very very friendly and inviting. It’s cleaned everyday, and the people make it easy to connect and make friends. It is a bit of a walk to get anywhere from the dorm, though.
