The Summit Dorm Reviews at Queens

Very clean and steps away from the nearest buildings. Library is next door and the gym is spacious with lots of equipment. I highly recommend to any incoming student because it helps you focus on your classes and avoid traffic.

The place is very nice. It had nice rooms and it's organized in a way people can feel comfortable in. To add on, they have everything that you need in a house. The location is perfect and will sits other kids

The reason i chose to live in summit was the location. Its on campus so if i get up 10 minutes before class, i could be on time in class. But the building is quite old and you need to wait till staff will fix your ac or whatever. Still worth enough to live here

The Summit has been relatively clean and quiet compared to most dorms i have seem. The only issue is putting in work orders for broken objects. I have put in several work orders for my dorm apartment and have yet (3 months in) gotten any word back on it.

The summit at Queens College gave me a Home when I had absolutely no where to turn and nobody to turn to. Coming from an extremely abusive household where I have been diagnosed by a therapist with PTSD, the summit welcomed me with open arms during the pandemic and helped me in ways that I cannot even begin to explain. Not only is it clean and the staff is friendly but they are helpful and genuinely care about the people who live here. My roommate and I have created a bond that I can only thank the Summit for. Living here and having my own private space with my own bathroom is something that I've never experienced in my life and I can't be more thankful.

I had fun meeting new people and the single rooms were a good size. Maintenance did not help when the room had gnats and that was a big issue. Two of the staff were also very nasty when it was time to leave and did not return one of my items. More activities and more common areas would be nice. Very far away from interesting places unless you drive.

It's a great place for students to live. Convenient since it's on campus, has a fitness center and computer lab. they also have a roommate quiz to match you with your roommates. The staff is very friendly as well.
