My time spent as a resident of the Del Norte was spent building new friendships and lounging around on lazy afternoons watching movies. While student life was basically non-existent, it was a comfortable experience and great for studying and napping. The room space was somewhat cramped but you should expect that out of a smaller school, especially community college. The dining services available were noticeably lacking, with little available in the way of healthy food options if you did not have access to food off-campus. The staff were friendly enough and were reliable most of the time to help you out if you needed it, and the other residents ranged around your typical demography for on-campus housing. Overall, my experience with the Del Norte dormitories was comfortable and a nice change of scenery. Would I go back? Probably not. But if you are looking for a quiet place that is affordable and passable, this place is for you.
