San Marcos Hall Dorm Reviews at Texas State

I believe San Marcos Hall to be the best dorm on campus. It is in a perfect location since the walk to the LBJ Student Center and Alkek Library is only a few minutes away. This dorm is also near Harris Dining Hall and the Student Rec Center. I personally love this dorm because of its amenities such as a private bathroom and common area in all the rooms.

San Marcos Hall is really great if you have the money to afford it. I was very uncomfortable by the idea of having to live in the same room as a roommate for entire year, so this was a great alternative. I also noticed its apartment style dorms makes the first year experience way more worthwhile. My other friends felt like they were at summer camp in their dorms, while San Marcos feels more like living in your own apartment.

I loved living here and made my college experience better than ever. The staff was great and got to know everyone. The friends I made living here are life long. Living in the dorms allowed me to get involved in many different organizations which broke me out of my shell, finding out who I really am.
