Cypress Hall Dorm Reviews at University of Florida

This is the nicest dorm. It was recently built and has all suites. All of the rooms have full extra long beds. I was in a super suite, which had three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a common area for six people. The location is great.

Cypress was an awesome first year dorm. It was cleaned weekly by staff who would come in and clean the bathroom and sink area. It was a great location and also had two working elevators. You could also change the air conditioning in your room which was nice.

Cypress Hall is one of the nicest dorms at UF. It is centrally located and easy to get around. The interior of the dorm resembles that of a Chiquita hotel boutique. It’s very warm and modern looking.

My experience at Cypress Hall was unlike any other. Surprisingly enough, all the friends I made in my dorm are still my closest friends and we got to live in luxury. Queen-sized beds, big common rooms, spacious windows; we could not ask for more.

It's been a pretty good experience. I only share the bathroom with two other girls and my RA's have been super nice and have tried really hard to make this COVID time fun but still safe. The location is by sorority row and about a 15 minute walk to midtown. This is one of the newest dorms on campus so it doesn't have a lot of the mold problems the other dorms seem to have.

Cypress is a unique that stair steps up the hill. This means that there are only windows on the front side of the building on most floors. When I lived in Cypress East you could expect to be woken up once a month by an incident such as someone overdosing and being taken out in an ambulance or the fire alarm being set off. Rooms are not well sound proofed and it is difficult to find a quiet place to study. I primarily studied in the library. The benefits of Cypress Hall include the kitchens and living rooms in each suite.

Cypress Hall is one of the best dorms on the UF campus. It is a newer dorm located in a great location close to dining, classes and libraries The interior of the dorm is very clean and well maintained

I am a resident in Cypress Hall since Aug 2020 and my experience has been wonderful. The dorm is centrally located to most classes, library and dining facilities. A newer dorm that feels like a hotel.

Living in Cypress Hall is like living in a hotel boutique. When you enter the lobby, it feels like you’ve entered a hotel lobby. It is made up of glass and metal everywhere with great lighting. The rooms and common areas are very spacious.
