Hume Honors Residence College: Hume Hall Dorm Reviews at University of Florida

Hume hall was very nice. It was very social and I was able to make lots of friends as a freshman student. The bathrooms were nice because they weren't communal and we had no problems with gross encounters. The only thing is that it is far from the center of campus, about a 20 minute walk.

Staying at Hume Hall was a significant factor in making friends and feeling like part of a community. The Honors LLC has since moved to the new Honors Village. I made close connections with the people who lived on my floor, and we did a lot of group activities on campus together. The dorms are a suite style, so two double rooms are connected by a bathroom. Sinks are in the dorm rooms, which made getting ready easy. The location isn't bad, either, and the roads nearby aren't loud. I had a positive experience at Hume Hall and would stay there again.

I had a great time living at Hume my freshman year! There's lots of community events which made it easy to make friends quickly. Additionally, the walk in closet and suite-style bathroom were both nice perks.

Nice and quiet. Really good for studying and focusing. But, the bathroom could be cleaned a bit better and the kitchen area should include wipes and hand sanitizers for safety reasons. I also feel like we should hold more events in the common areas for the residents.
