Simpson Hall Dorm Reviews at University of Florida

Simpson Hall is within the Graham area on campus at the University of Florida. As someone who lived in the Graham area in my first year at the University of Florida, in Graham Hall specifically, I would say it is one of the better areas to live in, and Simpson is the best of the three dorms in the Graham area. Simpson is the most recently renovated, with reliable AC, wooden floors rather than a less than settling marble found in Graham and Trusler. Being in the Graham area, Simpson also has close access to Gator Corner Dining (a dining hall less than a five minute walk away), pickleball and tennis courts, the Graham Market and Chomp It (food places in the area), close to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, and the Reitz Union.

it is an average dorm but the bathroom was catastrophic and very gross. The RA we had at the time was always MIA when she was needed and never responded to text messages. The common room was standard and had the essentials in the kitchen so that was good.

Simpson Hall is right across from the Honors College on the University of Florida campus. It is a 5 minute walk to the Reitz union and a 1 minute walk to two different bus stops. Itβs also a 5 minute walk to Gator Dining, the stadium, and it has a market and restaurant downstairs. Along with its ideal location, I had a great experience with the RAs and staff on call at this dorm. It was always clean and I felt safe.

It's an okay dorm. It is definitely one of the nicer ones because it was remodeled in recent years. My main issue with the safety is more an issue with UFPD than it is with the dorm itself. As long as doors are kept locked it's generally safe.

Simpson Hall is a good residence hall to live in, and it is located on a nice part of campus. The walls are pretty thin though, so you can hear people's conversations from neighboring rooms. The bathrooms are kept pretty clean, as well as the common kitchen area.

It is a nice residence hall for people who want to experience dormitory living. The building is relatively new, so it is well maintained. It can get a bit noisy because if the thin walls and the bathrooms are shared per floor, which can get messy but not busy.

Cleaning staff are super friendly. Communal bathrooms aren't too bad except for Sundays since they don't get cleaned on the weekend. Great location right next to the Reitz and by the stadium and in walking distance to everything else on campus.
