A good dorm. Relatively quiet, not super social. However I definitely did make friends with some neighbors. A good location next to prime areas on campus. Older building but maintained pretty well. Overall would recommend if you are looking for a dorm that is not a party dorm!

Yulee Hall is a good idea if you want a traditional dorming experience, with most rooms being shared by at least two people. As with any bathroom shared with an entire floor full of students, it can get pretty gross but the amazing janitorial team was vigilant and they do come to clean once a day. Being close to a dining hall was a great bonus.

Overall, my experience in this dorm has been average. The staff have mostly been extremely friendly, but everything else was about on the mark. The rooms are extremely small compared to other dorms, ESPECIALLY the singles. They are about 50 square feet with no sink, and overpriced. Yulee hall is relatively quiet compared to other dorms I have stayed in, although it takes awhile to walk to any good restauraunts. The Fresh Food Company is close, and so is Chik-Fil-A, but it takes nearly 10 minutes to walk to Reitz Union. There are Emergency Stations right near the dorm, making them relatively safe.

I enjoyed my time living in Yulee Hall. It is not the nicest dorm on campus, but the location can't be beaten. I made many close friends due to the social aspect of Yulee, and I would recommend it to incoming freshmen. Communal bathrooms and dingy hallways are part of the experience!

My experience at Yulee Hall so far has exceeded my expectations. Coming from having my own room to sharing a room with a complete stranger can be difficult, however it was much easier than I expected. Our dorms in Yulee appear to be slightly bigger than most halls on campus, but we lack a high tech machine that takes students from floor to floor. You guessed it! Our hall does NOT have an elevator. This can be inconvenient, however it has prevented me from gaining that freshman 15 that everyone dreads. Overall I have much love for Yulee Hall.

I lived at Yulee Hall on the fourth floor for my first two years at UF. I had a great location - could walk everywhere, had my own corner of campus, we had the Yulee Pit for outdoor relaxing. It was linked with two other halls, and we had some common areas with them, and as a Global Learning Community, there was always lots to be a part of. I liked being able to study and hang out in the basement, however I wish that there was more to our floorsβ common area, and that it didnβt smell like bad noodles all the time.
