Vista Residence Hall Dorm Reviews at ULV

My experience at Vista Residence Hall has been pleasant. The common areas are always clean. The carpet is always clean. The noise is never an issue. I like that the building is not too big. It feels like a community and reflects a small apartment complex. The workers are hardworking and sweet. Everyone works to keep the building safe and clean. My favorite part of the building is the many infographics that decorate the elevators updating us about upcoming RA events. The themes on each floor make the building more lively. If anybody attends this university you should stay in Vista for at least a semester.

Vista Hall is reserved for upper class men so it is more private in nature. During these times of COVID-19, the only issue is the meal plans (little variety, bland food, non-cooperative staff, $$$, etc.). Normally, depending on which room you are assigned to, you either get your own bathroom or you share it with your roommate. There are only doubles and singles in Vista. And there is a total of 4 rooms per suite (2 double/2single) with a total of 6 people in a suite. There is only one kitchen on the first floor. There are microwaves and laundry rooms on each floor. Nice building overall.

It has been a great experience and the dorms are very spacious. The common areas are kept clean. Furthermore, the staff are friendly and make it easier for students to ask for help if they need something.
