It is like a true apartment. You get your own bedroom with a lock, and you only share a bathroom with one other person. There is a full kitchen and a shared common area, which includes armchairs and a kitchen table. The campus itself is rather quiet, but nothing beats living on the second floor for quiet. Maintenance is very competent and fast-acting. It is very much worth the price. There are safety boxes all over campus, and while you need your ID to enter the dorms, people will hold doors for you if you ask. Thankfully, keys are needed to progress into the rooms themselves, and then into bedrooms further. Location also leaves a bit to be desired: it's an easy walk to the coffee shop, Cassell and Powers halls, but a rather longer walk to the science buildings, cafeteria, and library. In the winter, it's a cold walk. Any time of the year, the walk back is all uphill.
