Bancroft Hall Dorm Reviews at Annapolis

Nothing special. There's over 4000 people living in it, as the largest dormitory in the US. So naturally, it's harder for maintenance to get around to everything, so some things may take a while. Not very quiet of course, given, plebe-duties of "sounding off" and the expected level of college kid rowdiness. There's mice. It's not bad though.

I've lived here for the past year and a half and I feel that the close nature of everyone I share the dorm with has allowed me to become closer to my classmates and excel in my classes. I love the atmosphere that sharing such a large space fosters.

Bancroft Hall is very old, there is nothing more historical than that building. however, it is an amazing place because you are surrounded by people that are going through what you are. It is the safest campus.

Bancroft Hall is where some of the best friendships are mad and where Mids spend the majority of their time. You have to make the most out of your time here, and you will come away with great friends and memories.

Bancroft Hall is a wonderful place filled with amazing people. Bancroft Hall is a welcoming place if you can get past the rodents in the dorm. The Melwood workers who clean Bancroft are wonderful and friendly. They are greatly appreciated.

The workers are the best people around and they truly care for midshipmen. The Hall itself is very old and has been lacking in upgrades/maintenance for many years. Do not break anything unless your fine with it staying broken.

Living in Bancroft Hall is an experience like no other. You will be woken up at the crack of dawn by training evolutions, but you will also make some of the closest friends that you'll ever have. With the entire Brigade living in a single building, you know you won't miss out on anything, and the tight-knit community forged within the walls is truly something special.

It really is great to live with so close to all my friends and in a building with such historical significance. The best part is that I can get anywhere without having to go outside when it is cold. The nickname for bancroft is mother B, and it sure has felt like my home away from home these last few years.

Bancroft Hall remains one of the cleanest and well maintained dormitories I have ever been a part of. If there is any discrepancy, problems are often taken care of in a timely manner. The environment is a fun and positive one as well.

My time here is like no other place I would ever imagine. I have good stories as well as bad ones. However, I believe the comradery of living in Bancroft is like no other. Some of that may be accredited to the atmosphere of the Naval Academy. I will truly never forget my time here!
