Normal Hills Apartments Dorm Reviews at AAMU

Its pretty fine except cost of living there exceeds Morris dorm also it gives a apartment experience that has that comfy feel. But the there are problems with some apartments like how some rooms have two beds within one room and also how rooms are not having same number of couches

. Student housing off campus is much cheaper, without the hassle. It is basically like you are living in a dorm on campus and staff rudely busts into your apartment without any warning. The apartments are outdated and not well maintained. Apparently, AAMU has contracted someone else to manage Normal Hills.

I absolutely loved staying here for 3 school semesters . It was so peaceful and the rooms were very nice and spacious. The RA’s including the managers was very nice. The common area always was clean also

I loved that this was my first taste of independence. I did not like how the gate remained open all night. There should be an electric fence or someone there all the time to check for visitors that are not students.

Being able to come and go as I pleased was nice. As it helped me grow up and be responsible for cleaning my own room, bathroom and making sure kitchen was bug free. Enjoyed my time at Normal Hills. Now I am back staying home with parent due to cost. They gave me the college experience I wanted, now time to settle down.

I liked that Normal Hills emulated what it would be like living in an off campus apartment. Having your own room meant privacy and you had the freedom to cook and do laundry for free. Some improvements could be made on the style of the furniture provided and new carpets are long overdue. Also, I recommend that if you are a graduate student, senior, or junior this is better suited housing for you.
