Thunder Hill Hall Dorm Reviews at App State

The dorms are by far one of the nicest on campus. The rooms were the biggest and it was suite style. It actually felt like a room. The bathrooms were very nice and always had hot water and good shower pressure.

I love this dorm and it makes me feel like it is another home to me. The staff is friendly and I felt very welcomed in this environment. We are right next to a football stadium so be expected to hear some football games. I recomend this dorm to all of App State students.

Thunder Hill Hall was super exciting to be a part of since it was brand new, but also because I was able to live in my ACES Community. The opportunities Thunder Hill provided due to location, size, staff, and occupancy were limitless. I have really enjoyed getting to live here this past semester, and look forward to living here again in the spring! I was able to connect with so many different people from various backgrounds and build lasting relationships with several individuals.

Thunder Hill is one of the new dorms at App State and it is really nice to have the brand new dorm! However, this also means that there are a lot of things that break (like the elevators) and there is water damage from the rooms above. The workers in the dorm try and get to the big damage quickly, but they don't fix the other things that need to be looked at very quickly. Thunder Hill is on the west side of campus, right next to Kidd Brewer Stadium which is nice! Currently there is a lot of construction right outside that is quite loud at times. The workers start at 6am and go until about 4pm Monday through Saturday. Overall, it is a great dorm with a good location and it has a few minor inconveniences like all dorms would.
