White Hall Dorm Reviews at App State

It was a good experience overall, however, midway through the school year, we had a mold problem. Maintenence did basically nothing to help us out, and I still wonder how many people experienced symptoms from the mold exposure.

The dorm was small, but it had ac. The hall was in a really bad spot though it was in a hill so it was harder to walk to it. The place does not have a good spot to park for people to unload. It was bad.

White hall is an all girl dorm on the East side of campus at App State. It was a very nice and clean dorm with the rooms being nicely air conditioned. The room are also very big and you are given a dresser, closet, and a desk and chair. There are bathrooms on each floor for everyone on each floor to use and they included showers. The only issue I really had was how dirty the bathrooms could get on the weekends, but the janitors did a good job of handling that during the week when they were back.

I had a relatively good experience with White Hall. I typically felt very safe, however, there were times that walking back home at night felt unsafe. The staff was typically nice and understanding. The main problems were the common areas - the lobby and areas on each floor - as they were not always the cleanest or up to date and the kitchen tended to be messy or unclean at times.

After only being here for one semester I can say that I enjoy living here. It is always kept clean and the staff is polite. It would be nice to have a closer bathroom to my room, or even one built in. I stay on the very top floor and have nice views, which is a plus.

White hall is an all-girls dorm located on the east side of Appalachian State's campus. It is homey and the rooms are bigger than expected. There are always posted opportunities and are always ways to make friends.

White hall is an all girls dorm. Keep this in mind when you are considering what type of people you want to surround yourselves with. My hall was mostly stoners and alcoholics that would be very loud in the very early hours of the morning. It was also really hard to make friends because none of the girls really talked to eachother.
