There were roaches in some of the rooms and getting maintenance on anything broken took a long time. But there were not many issues with neighbors. Upon moving in all the appliances worked and beds were set up properly

When I was touring, it was so great to see how friendly everyone on each floor was and how everyone got along. They looked like a big family where people were able to knock on their neighbor's door without them being mad.

I stayed in Mortenson my first year which is kind of not very normal most first years live in Urness but with Covid there was more room in Mort. So I can't really complain about much because it was better than the alternative. The only thing in Mort that I noticed was the lack of maintenance. There were leaks in places and there was always somethin wrong with the machines in the laundry room.

Mortensen Hall is an apartment style dorm. It can be up to 4 people in a apartment. There are two person and single apartment styles. The walls are thin so you sometimes can hear your neighbors next and other doors closes. Overall, the apartments is nice and it includes a bathroom, living room and a kitchen.

Mortensen Hall is one of the apartment style dorm halls on campus, there aren't many commons areas in the hall specifically, but there is on sight laundry and a mostly functional elevator, most of the noise pollution comes from the highway next door, but there are ways to close off the noise (blackout curtains help a ton with this issue)
