Earle Hall Dorm Reviews at Baylor

The dorm itself is very nice and well taken care of. Its location is also ideal for students that have a lot of classes in the science building. The staff and residents are overall very nice, but if one is looking to live in a very social dorm then this may not be the best fit. The dorm is typically pretty quiet as it is housing for those that are pursuing a career in medicine.

Earle is a great dorm. It is very clean. However, the vibe is really academic. It is not a party dorm. The students are big on academics and are competitive. It is all about what you want out of a community. Study partners + social club -

Earle Hall is a dorm for science majors. While the rooms are quite large and have high ceilings, there is very little community. It honestly depends what you are looking for. I know only a handful of people who live in my dorm, but they are some of my closest friends. We are all in similar classes which is nice when studying for tests or if I am confused on homework.

Earle Hall, home of the Science and Health LLC is one of the newer campus halls at Baylor University. Overall it was well kept and clean however my one complaint regards the maintenance staff who were slow to respond to any technical issues that occurred within the dorm rooms. I lived in an apartment style, 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom dorm with a kitchen and shared living space. I can recall three instances that occurred of flooding in one of my roommates personal rooms. After filling incident reports on each of the three occasions, the maintenance staff concluded there was nothing they could do to fix the issue after responding a full 48 hours later at minimum. Each time they also gave a different evaluation as to what was causing the flooding issue. Evidently our Hall Director addressed the issue stating that it was a building related problem that could not be addressed until the conclusion of the academic year.

Earle Hall is a wonderful residence hall to live within. Not only are the facilities new and clean, but the staff and students make all the difference. Due to COVID-19, I was online only in my first semester. After being able to come back to campus during my spring semester, I was nothing but pleased with the single apartment I had been assigned to on campus. I strongly recommend applying to Earle Hall if you're a science major, you won't be disappointed!

Honestly if you're a STEM student you DEFINITELY want to live in Earle Hall! Easy walk to anywhere we need to go and has a lot of special opportunities only available to it's residents, such as a Laparoscopy certification course and surgical preparedness.

I like how Earle Hall is a PreHealth Dorm. This year (2020) they implemented Earle Hall only classes for Chemistry, Biology, Calculus, and Chapel. As a result, you get to further know the people you are living with.

Very good location as it is near both the business and the science building. The hall is also (supposed) to be the nicest on campus and is relatively new. My review may be worse as it flooded while I was there, my neighbors were loud on occasion, the hot water took forever, and the bathrooms were not cleaned nearly enough in my opinion. Would recommend to all science majors as you will meet people in your major area and will also have classes and chapel with them. The LAs are also all really good.

I really enjoyed being in this Dorm. It was full of respectful students and staff. I liked how everyone treated me and got along. The cleaning crew also kept it clean and safe. I also liked the location .

Earle Hall is better than the other dorms at Baylor, but it still has its faults. The Dining Hall is disgusting and most of the people that inhabit Earle Hall are somewhat loud and can become annoying.

Earle Hall is specifically for students pursuing a pre-medical path. Being able to live with people with similar interests allows to strike easier conversations and have an environment where everyone is facing the same challenge as you are.

It's definitely a good living experience for those in the health field. And its convenient location to East Villiage Dining Hall and the BSB makes things much easier. The bathrooms can get messy, but that's a bit more on the fault of the people living there (my neighbors in particular).

I lived at Earle during my first year of Baylor, and honestly, I love it. If I had to pick a place to live on campus, I would pick Earle Hall again because I can not imagine myself living on campus anywhere else.

Earle Hall is one of the best resident halls here at Baylor University. Although there is an application process and you must be a science or health related major, the location of Earle is pretty hard to beat. For starters, there is a dining hall two minutes away. That makes getting food pretty convenient, since it is one of the better dining halls on campus. Most, if not all, of the classes that you take will be close by and the other residents will also be taking similar classes, which makes setting up study groups so much easier.
