Memorial Hall Dorm Reviews at Baylor

My experience has been nothing short of absolutely horrible. The rooms are disgusting and the people are even worse. It is labeled as the honors dorm, so I have to pay an extra $300 for activity fees which are always scheduled at the most inconvenient times (usually during classes.)

I feel that staying in Memorial Hall is much better than staying in Friend Hall. In Friend Hall, it's boisterous and not very clean. I would probably rate Friend Hall as a 2 or 3. Then again, it is the cheapest dorm on campus, so what do you expect?

I've had the best dorm experience out of all my friends from high school. But the building itself is 90 years old and it shows. The walls are thin, the carpet in the halls is gross, the hot water doesn't always work, the air conditioning sometimes goes on a bender in the middle of winter, and the common areas are practically unusable. However, it is one of the better on campus options. It is only available for honors students and is a two year contract.

I have had a very negative experience in Memorial Hall. The room is half the size of the others, filled with cockroaches, and I have a roommate that is very loud and does not clean her side of the room or help clean the bathroom.
