Patton Hall and Bear House Dorm Reviews at Belmont

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Patton Hall during my freshman year at Belmont University. The staff took covid protocols very seriously, the lounge spaces were always filled with laughter, and the location is the cherry on top. I had a wonderful view of the Main Lawn and grand fountain on campus! Additionally, my suitemates and I had a jack and jill bath, which I really appreciated. Overall, the building was clean and I truly believe there is no freshman dorm better than Patton!

Patton Hall is such an amazing dormitory and very lucky to stay there.The location is in a perfect location and the dorm staff Pilsner be more amazing and helpful with everything you could need.Everything is very clean and the maintenance is up to par.

Overall I got lucky with my room. I had a beautiful view of the fountain and McWhorter. My bathroom did have a puddle/leakage from the upstairs bathroom but maintenance was quick to address my problem.

I had a wonderful experience my freshman year in Patton Hall! It is in the heart of campus with easy access to a parking garage. If you are on the front side you have a beautiful view of the lawn and busy parts of campus!

I have loved getting to stay in Patton Hall and Bear House! I am on the Patton side, and have enjoyed my dorm-life experience. All of the staff is very friendly, and all common areas are kept clean and tidy! I have also felt very safe with the COVID-19 protocols that the school has put in place.

There are many different types of dorms in Patton. I was lucky and had a room with a bathroom to itself and only shared it with my one roommate. Some residents, however, had to share the same size bathroom with up to 5 other people. The bathroom had one toilet, one shower and two sinks, so the more roommates the less likely you get space to yourself. Patton also doesn’t really have common areas for students to sit and study or hang with other students besides a few chairs outside the hall. I wish they had big common areas on every floor to give students some space away from their roommates/ additional places to study near their room instead of having to walk across campus to get to the library.

Patton Hall and Bear House is the ideal freshman dorm experience but with cleanliness and safety. It's location is highly convenient, being close to the center of campus, one can basically roll out of bed and walk to class, while I saw many students do just that, I personally recommend a shower first. I loved my freshman dorm life experience in Patton Hall.

I loved living here! It's in a central spot on campus and one of the newer dorms on campus. They held a lot of fun events throughout the year, which helped me to get to know other students in the building and the RAs as well. It was a great experience!

Patton Hall is the absolute best Dorm Hall for incoming freshmen. The staff do a wonderful job at creating a well-knit community. I am still friends with many of the people I met in Potter/Patton to this day!
