Centennial Hall Dorm Reviews at BGSU

My experience at Centennial Hall was golden. It was amazing to be able to live somewhere where the staff and maintenance team actually cared about you. They were quick to solve problems, and always hosted events to make sure we were comfortable.

My experience in Centennial Hall so far has been great. It's a residence hall for first years only and has in room bathrooms. People often compare the rooms to hotel rooms, which I do agree with. Looking at the room layout online doesn't do it justice because once you see it in person it's actually bigger than you would think. When deciding to choose a room like this (with an in room bathroom) I typically heard and read online that halls like this don't have a strong sense of community like those with hall bathrooms do. I don't believe this is true. Yes you will not see people in the common areas every day or in the halls all the time. But you will usually always see a group of people in the kitchen, at the study tables, outside in the field, or playing pool/table tennis. We have activities hosted by hall council or even a floor wants to host and invite people to join. So it's not like we're all locked away all day and night and only leave when it's time to go to class or someplace else.

Centennial Hall is a perfect place to live. It has quiet hours, and places to study when you want to get out of your room. The dorm room itself is a really good size for two people. It is also a added bonus that it has a bathroom and air conditioning in your dorm room. Overall, I would definitely live at Centennial Hall again if I could. The staff and faculty here are so nice and are willing to assist you with whatever you need!

Made my transition very relaxing and comfortable I felt like I was at home. I felt like I was in a safe and friendly and clean environment. My RA helped also make my transition easy always looking out for me.

Best dorm for freshman. Centrally located, wonderful space and light and bathrooms. Loved it so much. Like staying at a hotel! I was really lucky to have stayed there my freshman year as the rest of the dorms available to freshman are not nearly as nice

My son will be an incoming freshman in 6 weeks. On our tour the rooms were somewhat spacious, tall ceilings, ample furniture, clean. The private bathroom is a plus! Laundry and accessible. Dorm is centrally located

centennial hall was very nice. it was one of the only dorms on campus that have air conditioning so that was nice. it was all the way across campus from my classes so a little inconvenient but there was a dining hall next to it so that was awesome.

I lived in centennial hall with two other roommates and it was a typical college dorm experience. People who lived on the same floor were nice and the common areas were always so nice. I also enjoyed the kitchen area for dinners with friends.

I enjoyed living in the dorms at Centennial Hall. It was nice to have our own bathroom instead of having to go to a community bathroom. The only thing I did not like is that other students would not leave their doors open to get to know each other.

I love how Centennial Hall is right near everything. It is located by one of the two dining halls, by most of the main buildings, right next to the library, and a close walk to the Union. I love how everyone in the hall is always open to doing something with you, no matter if you are friends or not. It is a very homie community and I would recommend this to my friend!

Going well so far , love how clean and the availability of privacy it allows me to have. Centennial is well cleaned and maintained as it is vacuumed and cleaned everyday. It’s a nice environment in the middle of school which makes it easy to get around

I have really enjoyed my experience because I had my own bathroom within my dorm, the only negative to that is that I rarely leave my room. But overall I had a very positive experience in Centennial Hall.

Overall loved living in Centennial Hall. It is on the pricier side, but worth it for many reasons. The room size is not too cramped, has in-dorm bathroom, a huge window, and clean carpet, walls, and common areas. Also has a ping pong table and large TVs for common use.
