David L. Soltz Hall Dorm Reviews at Bloomsburg

My experience at David L. Soltz Hall was a very good one. I came from Living in Elwell Hall, Then I walked into Soltz building and was like OMG, this building is amazing. I ended up searching online to see what the residence life was like and was very interested. I came upon myself to seek a resident hall change and ended up moving into the David L. Soltz hall and been amazed since I love it !!!!

David L. Soltz Hall is a great place to live on campus. Although expensive, it is worth it to have your own room and not have to have a communal bathroom. Soltz is very safe and everyone who works there is very nice.

I stayed in David L. Soltz for the first time during the fall 2020 semester. Overall I loved the experience. I loved having my own bathroom and common area. The staff was always very helpful and nice towards the students. Overall I enjoyed staying in David L. Soltz hall.

Soltz hall is the most recent renovated halls at Bloomsburg University. Normally juniors and seniors reside in this hall but due to Covid-19, they tend to try to space apart all students and I just so happen to be one of the few lucky freshman to be in this dormitory. You have your own bedroom space with roommates next door, alongside shared bathrooms and a common area. It is very quiet with an easygoing environment where you can still be as loud as you want in your personal living space. I know for myself I was able to study when I need too, play music when I wanted, movies at comfortable volume, and easy access to our bathrooms since our bathrooms are not like every other hall where everyone would share, instead it is the 2-3 roomies that reside with. I had a great time having my own freedom and my own space to put my large loads of clothing and being able to share all foods and products with my roommates. Just an overall great experience.
