Alex Haley Hall Dorm Reviews at Bowie State

It's clean for the most part, people don't really take care of the stuff for the most part, breaking stuff, making lots of noise and not caring about other people that live here. The mail room is kinda annoying with they way they do packages. But for the most part its okay.

The Alex Haley Hall is a nice co-ed dorm. Maintenance responds to very requests quickly. There are multiple elevators to reach all of the floors. The cleaning staff is always around if you need anything.

I have been living in Alex Haley Hall going on 3 years now, I am satisfied with it but it does need some work done such as new elevators and common areas where we can be somewhat loud and express ourselves. The bathrooms need to be renovated as well. But besides all of that, Haley is a fun dorm, it definitely feels like family and you are seeing the same people everyday so everyone knows everyone and we all speak. The staff working in Haley are nice and respectful and always there to help with anything and they are always there to be a listening ear. So yes, I love Alex Haley Hall and I cannot wait to move in, in the Fall.

It was a great experience being at Alex haley and once covid dies down, I would love to return to the campus soon. The staff were nice to me and was very understanding un terms of communication between staff and student. The only problem I had were the bathrooms there, other than that its a nkce place to stay.
