I would not recommend this hall to anyone who does not drink, smoke, or in general likes quiet. I got into this dorm because I did not chose a residential college my freshman year. What you should know is that by not choosing a residential college (filled with engineers, etc) you are more likely to be surrounded by the students that do party and party often. If you like to party, this is a great dorm for you. However as someone who likes clean spaces and quiet this was not a good situation for me personally. What you should know as a freshman pertaining to housing is 1. make sure you like your roommate and if not CHANGE IMMEDIATELY because Bucknell will pair you up with problem students if you wait -ex. a friend of mines roommate physically tried to fight her, after her switch they tried to pair me up with her, 2. downtown dorms are party dorms 99% of the time, and 3. residential college housing is always the nicest housing for freshman.
