Centre Square Dorm Reviews at BYU Idaho

The RA's were helpful and kind. My roommates and I enjoyed living in a comfortable and welcoming environment without worrying about safety. The accommodations weren't over-the-top amazing, but adequate for our needs and budget-friendly. A great way to start out our college career!

While Centre Square is not the cheapest option, it still is incredibly affordable and probably the highest value per dollar. It offers many amenities like Table game space, Music rooms, and even free food in the lobby on occasion. The only negatives are the limited privacy.

Centre Square has a friendly environment and provides all of the help as well as utilities. I've been able to meet some great people and learn a lot about living on my own. The apartments are well laid out with plenty of room and even a washer and dryer in the apartment!

It was on the pricier side of the approved housing. It was a nice enough first place to live and is recommended on the school website because it is school owned. I wasn't a huge fan of the doors locking at curfew, I know you could get back in using your card and all, but it was a hassle. Plus they would know who is was coming back into the building because of your card information. I get why they would lock the doors though. It was quiet for the most part, neighbors weren't too loud except a few times, but quieted down after we would go talk to them. For the price of living there, and the amenities that come with it, I would say that one can find a better place with more amenities for cheaper or close to the same price. It is a decent enough starter for housing though.

It was okay. Not amazing but not terrible either. We never had any maintenance problems and there was plenty of space in the dorm rooms. I didn't like how it felt more like a hotel room rather than an apartment. I also didn't like how far away it was from the rest of campus. You had to walk quite a ways to get to any of the main buildings and that was difficult with all the snow and wind. They did have donut fridays which were always fun and I appreciated.
