Smith Hall Dorm Reviews at Cal Baptist

Smiths Hall feels like you are living in a community filled with lots of your friends. Each floor has a spacious common area which is also like a lounge where residents can study, relax, or hang out together. There is also a laundry room and kitchen area located on each floor, there are 3 floors at Smiths Hall.

I had an amazing freshman year in smith hall. I loved the layout of the building and the guys on my hall were the best. I am still friends with many of them today. My one gripe with living here was the very strict visiting hours for girls. I could not even bring my mom up to my room if the time was not right.

Smith Hall was really nice to me. It was close to all my classes and close to events. The dorm was nice and my roommate was really cool and we got to know each other more. We did a lot traveling together.

Smith Hall has been an Amazing Experience for me so far! When I first applied, I was uneasy about how things would turn out. I thought for sure I would spend most my days alone I’m my room avoiding everyone, and being an outsider (kinda dark right, well that’s just the scary thoughts of a Highschooler on what college might actually be like). But when I got there, it was a completely different experience than I expected. Right away they were very open and welcoming, and focused on creating a strong bond. And right away, it was able to happen! All the residents are very cool and friendly, and the RA’s make the experience feel comfortable! We all got the chance to get to know one another, which is great after all these months of quarantine! Speaking of which, they do an excellent job and making sure we’re safe with the virus going around, through temp checks and enforcement of masks. So we are very well safe! I love the experience here, and I wouldn’t change it for another!! :)

It is a quite safe place. It is nice place to study and focus more on your career. The neighborhood is nice and quit. Has enough space to walk around and study on the yard. I mostly like to study outside when the weather is nice this place gives me that opportunity.
