Goodhue Hall Dorm Reviews at Carleton

The Superlounge is nice and it's nice to have vending machines, but the floor lounges are cramped and lacking. The upper floors feel very closed off, so it's difficult to feel like a part of a community (because the kitchens and lounges are normal sized rooms with locking doors). It's far from dining and difficult to live in during the winter, but it is very conveniently close to the arb.

I love how Goodhue is away and separated from the other parts on Campus, which gives it a nice vibe to wake up to in the morning. Though the noise can be quite cumbersome and there are only 6 washers and dryers for the entire Dormatory.

It has four floors and an elevator, although most of us opt for the stairs. The bathrooms are small but there are many on each floor. You do have a roommate, and floor life is generally good (although due to COVID it isn't as great). Goodhue is also further (across the lake) from the main part of campus, so it's a bit of a walk, but Carleton is a small enough school that it isn't that bad. However, it is one of the worst dorms along with Musser as they are freshman residence halls.
