Cline Residence Hall Dorm Reviews at Centenary

Cline is a residential hall for most of the athletes it is right across the street from our gym and right next to the fitness center. It is very popular, and a great social hang out place. However, it is pretty quiet and residents are respectful to quiet hours.

It's widely regarded as one of the worst residence halls on campus, but it's not nearly as bad as everyone says. The showers don't have a lot of water pressure and it takes forever to heat up, but they are cleaned regularly. The maintenance staff is very polite and prompt, but the building has a lot of issues so maintenance is required frequently. Overall, it's an adequate building, just in dire need of a makeover.

Nice location, close to the gym, the soccer filed, the swimming pool and my classes. Fairly thick walls so that we do not hear noises from the adjacent rooms. The common areas are fairly small. There is a nice New Orleans style courtyard.

It's a convenient dorm for Comm majors and athletes. There's a beautiful inner courtyard that's always spotless. The walls are concrete and are hard to hang things up, but I've seen some very creative methods of decorating from some of the residents here. RA's are always friendly and keep on top of things like noise complaints and safety violations. Only real irritations is the 3 am noise that athletes like to make as they walk along the inner courtyard back to their rooms.
