Potomac River Hall Dorm Reviews at CNU

It's a dorm room....nothing great but it is clean and in a good location. Everyone is friendly and so the atmosphere is pretty chill. It definitely is whatever you make of it! Some days are fine and some days you get tired of being in the room.

I spent my first two years in both North and South, and had a good experience with the dorm life. There were some maintenance problems, but those were beyond our control. The students living in the dorms were engaged and the RA's were passionate about their jobs.

Clean, neat, and pretty spacious for a freshman dorm! Probably gets the most maintenance of of main campus. Centrally locally, easy walking to the academic building and the best dining hall. Parking's pretty rough, though.

Quietness depends on your roommate, high pressure bathrooms so toilets never clog and shower is very nice, staff are nice, cleanliness mostly depends on how clean you keep your room, very close to regattas and commons so easy to get food.

Since I live at the end of the hall, there aren't any noisy disturbances, which is nice! The space within each room is very convenient. I like having my own bathroom within my suite. The maintenance crew could be better in terms of fixing things such as leaky toilets, but I think that goes for every school. Overall very satisfied with my experience.

POSO is a fun place to live, its not as nice or new as the other sophomore dorms like Warwick or James River, however, it is in a convenient location right behind McMurran, and right next to Ratcliff for the athletes.
