Ingle Hall Dorm Reviews at Coastal Carolina

Overall, I had an amazing experience living in Ingle Hall for my freshman year. The Ingle Hall dormitory housed some of the kindest and most amazing people. I was fortunate enough to live in one of the 4 room dorms where I had my own room and shared a common area and bathroom with my roommates. Ingle Hall isn't a loud dormitory, but you will hear music occasionally in the building typically on the weekends. At night the dormitory is quiet because people abide by the quiet hours' rules. The laundry room of the dorm can be quite a mess when being heavily used on certain days. The bathrooms in Ingle Hall are kept very clean and sanitary.

At Coastal Carolina University, the university employees at freshmen dorms are all about community. Most of the friends I have today, I met in Ingle Hall. From there I just met more people --friends of friends. Compared to the other dorms (Eaglin, Chanticleer, etc.) it was the cleanest. It was a fantastic freshmen year.

Ingle was unique in that it's one of the older dorms on campus. It is a suite-style building, but with only 4 people to one bathroom instead of the big suites in the other buildings. I'm glad I lived in Ingle.

Trash constantly left in hallways, usually quiet during the day but loud at night most of the time. rooms are extremely dusty and bathroom showers don't get hot water half the time and toilets clog really easily. Would not recommend, maybe eaglin or the woods.

My experience at Ingle Hall has been adequate overall. The halls are as clean as the residents keep them and the maintenance crew tries their best to keep the building clean. The building is pretty safe because you need to have a student ID card to enter and you need a key to get into any of the rooms. I would say that Ingle Hall is an average college dorm, nothing terrible nor is it amazing.

Ingle Hall needs to be updated. I am in a 4 bedroom suite. The four of us share the bathroom and living room. The college provided a couch for the living room. It is nice to have your private bedroom and decorate it any way you want. Ingle Hall is located near the food hall, bookstore and gym.
