Mabee Residence Hall Dorm Reviews at C of O

Mabee Residence Hall has a set up and environment that allows for quick connections and friendships to be made. While the hallways do echo slightly, the rooms are sufficiently quiet and perfect for studying. The rooms are each connected to one other room by a jack and jill bathroom. This allows for more community and opportunities to build respect for other's space and cleanliness. Mabee places high expectations on room checks which ensures that your living environment will be healthy and tidy. I recommend this living facility as it is most efficient and welcoming.

This is my second semester in Mabee and I have enjoyed every moment of it. Moving from a freshmen dorm to and upperclassmen dorm really makes that first year of living in a small dorm worth it. I enjoy that we do not have communal bathrooms in Mabee. The staff is wonderful and I would recommend it to any underclassmen.

I love my dorm. It is a bit older, the architecture is more reminiscent of the 80s, but I love the feel of it. Crossing balconies and walkways make it so you can yell down from the 3rd floor to 1st if you so desire. The common spaces are clean and well maintained, and the rooms themselves are spacy and in relatively good condition. I enjoy living here!

It is a suite dorm. Two rooms share one bathroom. Those who living in the rooms clean the bathroom. Rooms checks are every week. It is off center of the main campus. It is a close walk to the cafe and most buildings of the main campus.

My roommate and I enjoy living in Mabee. The room isn't very large but it accommodates us pretty well. We have not had any bug or odor problems, and the halls and lounges are kept clean and tidy. I'm pretty busy, so I don't spend a lot of time in the dorm but I don't have any issues with it.
