I lived on the eighth floor of the building. Although the floors weren't crowded, the study rooms on the top floor were always filled. It was hard to find washing machines to do laundry. But, Stearns West was close to some good restaurants and the cafeteria.

Living in Stearns west is not bad but the biggest complaint that I would have to say is the noise for sure. You can hear other people from your dorms,it's really annoying when you're trying to study and you can hear your neighbor's music or conversation.
